Q: How long does it take to have beef processed?

A: Depending on the size of your order, processing space is arranged alongside other orders of quarters, halves, and even wholes. A cow cannot be processed a quarter at a time. A whole cow must be processed so it may take up to a month for your order to be ready for pickup.

Q: How much freezer space will I need for a 1/4 cow?

A: As a general rule of thumb you should plan for 1 cubic foot of freezer space per 20-25 pounds of meat. (1 cubic foot of space is roughly the size of a full large brown grocery bag.) For every quarter cow, you should make arrangements for almost 4 cubic feet of freezer space.
