A: Depending on the size of your order, processing space is arranged alongside other orders of halves and wholes. A hog cannot be processed half at a time. Most pork orders require 2 weeks at most.
A: As a general rule of thumb you should plan for 1 cubic foot of freezer space per 20-25 pounds of meat. (1 cubic foot of space is roughly the size of a full large brown grocery bag.) For every half hog, you should make arrangements for almost 6 cubic feet of freezer space.
